I am running in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 11th October 2009 for Brainstrust, a charity set up by friends from Warwick University to support people disagnosed with critically sited brain tumours.

The charity exists to:

* Supports patients who have been diagnosed with a brain tumour and their families

* Works with hospitals to secure care pathways for patients

* Campaign and advocate on behalf of the brain tumour community

* Fund technology for treatment

* Fund research that translates into clinical practice

The charity also hosts a music concert each year where a big group of us perform to raise funds.
