WE DID IT!

Girls came 6th out of 15, boys came 12th out of 18 (although the boys beat the girls...just!)

Not sure how this came about but 5 of us have somehow signed up to a 5 hour race consisting of cycling (2hrs) running (2hrs) and kayaking (1hr).  To help train for this event there are several 10ks, half marathons, mini triathalons, and the London to Brighton Bike ride going on over the next couple of months-all leading up to the main event.  All this during a Lions tour!!  A commitment that deserves your respect....and your cash!
 
As well as raising some ailing fitness levels we are hoping to raise money for a charity close to many of the teams hearts.  Dick Dickinson, James father, Nadia's father in law and drinking partner to several other team members, died of Bowel Cancer in late 2007. Beating Bowel Cancer are a fantastic charity who do a huge amount to increase awareness about this disease and help work towards a cure.
 
So come on there must be one amongst the 5 that you would pay to see suffer in the summer heat!  Please dig deep for this very worthwhile charity.
