In a moment of maddness, we thought it would be fun to take part in the Chicago Marathon as a great way to see the city.....little did we know that we'd actually get a place!

As we only have a month to train we have decided it's either live or die - and therefore our only option is to power walk the windy streets of Chicago in search of the finish line!

We are fundraising for Maggie's charity.  It is a place for people who have cancer and their family and friends.  Their goal is to keep people who have cancer as healthy in mind and body as possible, by enabling them to participate actively in the treatment of their disease.  They have five centres open in the UK and a further six in the pipeline. 

Maggie's is a really great charity and as they are small every penny or cent counts!
