Story
Just over two years ago, our beautiful friend Sally was diagnosed with a Stage 4 glioblastoma. She knew that she wouldn't survive it, but she put all her strength, determination and resolve into surviving and enjoying her life for as long as she possibly could, for the sake of all those around her.
Now that we have lost her, the only practical thing we can do, apart from continue to support her amazing family, is raise some money for Brain Tumour Research.
We're running the Bradford 10k on Sunday 17th March - we're not all runners and we are not terribly prepared for it! Plus, we're not doing it because it was her favourite sport, Sally hated running!!
But, we shall do it together and really we wanted an excuse to do something good in her name because we loved Sally and we miss her.
Brain Tumour Research are building a network of experts in sustainable brain tumour research at dedicated Centres of Excellence. £2,740 is the equivalent of sponsoring a day of this research.
Please give what you can - it goes without saying that anything that can be done to prevent other people and their families and friends going through what Sally and hers did can only be a good thing.
Thank you,
Abi, Alyce, Amy, Emma, Helen, Jill and Sally.
