Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hello!!!

You may be here because you visited my Half Marathon page http://www.justgiving.com/samanthabuckmaster1/ and decided it wasn't for you and prefer to donate your hard earned cash to this page. It will still go to the wonderful Bowel Cancer Uk charity. I plan a 200 mile bike ride from Walthamstow to Accrington in September, camping 3 nights and arriving at my home town on the 4th. I am "roughing" it as they say, alone with my questionable sanity.

A little rhyme to set the scene.

4 years ago I cycled a long way

asthma struck and on the floor a lay

boyfriend said "stop being lazy"

my feelings for him became somewhat hazy!

two hundred and thirty miles

5 days and we didn't get piles

3 miles up hill then 3 down

the adrenalin took away the frown

Now a bit older and more wise

Bigger arse and stronger thighs

Team bike, tent and buck (me)

Please send me lots of luck

200 miles in 4 days

Many roads and many ways

It will probably rain an awful lot

I will take Vasceline in a big pot.

Stop 1. 50 mile mark. Bletchley/ Old Stratford, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

Stop 2. 100 mile mark. Dadlington/ Hinkley/ Nuneaton, Warwickshire

Stop 3. 150 mile mark. Leek/ Stoke-on-trent, SW Peak District, Staffordshire

Stop 4. 200 mile mark. Rising Bridge, Accrington, Lancashire

I will be eternally grateful on behalf of Bowel Cancer UK for any donation. I have yet to decide whether to take along my peach horse jockey outfit, more due to the fact the pants are too small. I suppose the more you give the more you get. Suggestions on making this experience hirrarious on my part are welcome.

Cheers!!!
