I volunteer for Staffie Smiles Rescue and I thought this would be a fun and healthy thing to do with my dog Bridget, to help raise awareness and money for the poor homeless and abandoned staffies. SSR work hard to help abandoned, unwell and stray staffies, to get vet treatment, training, neutering, vaccinations, foster homes and forever homes. They try to help educate and support people in need with staffies, to help aid them to be able to keep the dog if possible.

I believe walking 100 miles in 5 days will be a challenge for me, but well worth doing if I can raise some much needed funds for SSR. We started to train for this walk and have done the first day of 20 miles walking as a test. It went well, so we are excited about doing the full walk.  I will be taking pictures along the way so you can see our progress.
