Story

🏃‍♀️ I'm Walking the Talk – Literally!

On Sunday 14 September at 10:30, I’ll be lacing up my trainers for The KiltWalk – Big Stroll, and this time I’m not just cheering from the sidelines. Since 2020, I’ve proudly supported the KiltWalk through donations and encouragement, but this year I’m stepping up (pun fully intended!) to join the walk myself.

💪 Why It Matters

As a 20+ year double cancer survivor, it’s a privilege to be here, walking alongside others who share not just the spirit, but often the experience – given that 1 in 2 of us will face some form of cancer in our lifetimes. This year, our fundraising supports Sir Chris Hoy’s “Tour De Four” cancer charities, making it the perfect moment to show my gratitude and give back to those walking in shoes I’ve worn – and those who may walk in them in future.

👣 Who I'm Walking With

I’ll be joined by my wonderful husband Marc, and many amazing colleagues and co-workers. While we’ll be walking (strolling!!) together, Marc and I are fundraising independently, so if you can spare a few pennies (or pounds!) we’d be incredibly grateful. No need to literally shower us with coins – we’re hoping the weather doesn’t shower us either!

🙏 Thank You
