Story
Hello! thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page! I'm raising money for FRANK Water Projects in memory of Uncle Geoff.
16 Years. It's been this long since I last completed a Triathlon. The last Triathlon I did was on the 16th November 1997.
16 Weeks. This is how many weeks of training I will have completed in 16 days time for my 1st Triathlon in 16 Years.
16 Days. Is the amount of time I have to raise sponsorship for FRANK Water.

Imagine if you had no clean, drinkable water for a day or two? How much would you pay for a clean glass of water?
This is a great question to ask as it gives a very real idea of how vital water is to us all! Please donate with this in mind.
In January of this year my Uncle Geoff passed away. He loved sport, cricket being his favorite. As a young adult Geoff enjoyed cycling from Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon with his friends and brother Michael. I've always loved cycling and Uncle Geoff kindly brought me my 1st mountain bike at the end of my 1st year at University. During which, I had been very ill with glandular fever and had not been able to physically do anything, this was a challenging time. This mountain bike helped me to recover my health and fitness and lead me into the world of triathlon. The 1st ever organised triathlon I did was in Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire. It was a mountain bike triathlon in which I recall getting off my bike and bearly being able to walk never mind run!
Now after having been inactive for 16 years of my life, while being considerably older and probably not much wiser. I have got off my backside, got rid of the cobwebs and got back on my bike in honour of Uncle Geoff while raising money for Frank Water. There is also the swim and run part of the triathlon for me to consider, no shelter from the storm there Geoff!
Remember now how much would you pay for a clean glass of water! Act Now. Donate Now. Great support, thank you very much.
