My family and I are participating in a 5k inflatable obstacle course. We particularly want to raise awareness of Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a cancer that starts in white blood cells called lymphocytes. In Hodgkin lymphoma, it is cells in the lymph nodes that have become cancerous.
- There are around 2,100 new hodgkin lymphoma cases in the UK every year, that's more than 5 every day (2013-2015).
- 1 in 370 men and 1 in 490 women will be diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma during their lifetime
- In males in the UK, hodgkin lymphoma is the 19th most common cancer, with around 1,200 new cases in 2015.

Lymphoma action are the UK's only charity who focus exclusively on providing specialist information and support to help lymphoma patients, their relatives, friends and carers. They help people feel less vulnerable, more confident and more in control, which helps them cope and deal with their treatment. (Lymphoma action website, 2018)
We want to ensure they are able to continue to help patients and their loved ones. Any donation would be appreciated xx
