We support, motivate & empower young people to be the best versions of themselves

Story

I am turning 40 and as a challenge, I have signed up for the Blenheim Triathlon, alongside an inspiring team of women from my son’s school. This is far, far out of my comfort zone but as a friend said, ‘start the decade as you mean to go on.’

Along with The Hall School Triathlon Team, I am raising money for Unitas, a charity organization based in Barnet. Colindale & Burnt Oak (within Barnet) are within the bottom 20% of most deprived wards in England and Child Poverty is highest among these areas compared with national averages.

Unitas has set up a youth centre which is accessed by over 6500 young adults. The purpose of the youth center is simple - to provide young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to. Unitas has a strong focus on sports, to help the young people spend their time in a safe space and to inspire them to live healthier, happier and more aspirational lives.

Our fundraising is specifically to help expand their sporting facilities including their fitness centre and boxing gyms.

Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
