I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year running both the Warrington 5K Pretty Muddy Sat 7th May and the Delamere 5k as part of Team Jack. Jack sadly lost his brave fight against cancer on Thurs 24th March after a long battle with this evil disease. My son Ben, who along with Kyle will join me on the 5K Delamere run, was lucky enough to have had Jack as a good friend and will truly miss him. My friendship with Vicki started as a result of the shared car journeys over to plodders back in early 2013 and without her encouragement I don't think I would have managed to train for and run the Liverpool Rock and Roll half marathon which we did in 2014. So this seems a fitting way to show my support for Vicki and her family and honour a true super hero. #Team Jack
