So.. We fancied a new challenge and we came across the opportunity to raise money for a fantastic cause whilst doing so! (Maybe not thinking it through thoroughly at the time, but no going back now)

For anyone that knows us will know this is not something we would EVER normally do, we have 8 weeks intensive training which will lead to a match (in front of lots of people) on the 11th October!

What will keep us going and hopefully put the sheer fear to the back of our minds is that we will be doing it all to raise money for a fantastic cause which is Maggies. Maggies has centres all over the UK but our money raised will be going especially to the Nottingham centre. Maggies centres provide free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends. It is an inspiring charity that helps people in their time of need.
