The Refugee Council is the nation’s refugee charity. Together with community groups, partners and volunteers, we help people who have escaped war and persecution to rebuild their lives, integrate into communities, and play their part in Britain.

Story

Our students are  young refugees who are separated from their parents and awaiting placement in the British Education System. We offer a safe and friendly learning environment while we  teach them skills and knowledge that will help them succeed in British education and society.

Thanks to the amazing donations we've received so far, we have been able to purchase five computers and other supplies, allowing us to introduce technology into our English and Maths lessons and run a rewarding animation workshop.

The animation workshop

1) provided a fun vehicle for continued development of English skills

2) boosted the self-esteem of the students

3) introduced technology skills to the students

We need seven more computers to incorporate more technology into our English and Maths lessons and introduce technology centered classes. Technology skills are essential for our hardworking students to have a successful future!

Our students are incredibly eager to learn and extremely grateful for any opportunities we offer them. Thank you so much for any contribution you can give that will improve their learning process here in the UK. THANK YOU!
