Story
As most of you know I have just reached the grand old age of 70, it's hard to believe, but most of you have just got there too... get over it it’s just a number!
As one reaches 70, they are supposed to grow old gracefully, not me. I’m afraid I’m going down fighting! I did a Hang gliding flight for my 60th. It was a fantastic experience; we were pulled up by a micro light aircraft and then jettisoned when we were in the air. Well now I’m going to jump off a cliff….I know David’s been wanting to push me off a cliff for years, but I thought I would do it with a trained pilot. So I’m going to jump off Devils Dyke in Brighton and hopefully we will fly like the birds (weather and sanity permitting!!!!!).
When I did this mad deed at the relatively young age of 60 I decided to do it for a good cause just in case I didn’t make it back. It would give me some brownie points for the next life! Well I did make it back and now I can’t believe I’m actually looking forward to doing it again, but as before I would like to get the brownie points just in case.
There are so many worthy causes to support but as I have been blessed with healthy children and grandchildren, I have decided to collect for Camp Simcha. They exist to support and improve the quality of life for Jewish families in the UK coping with serious childhood illness. It does this by providing a range of 24/7 support services for the parents and powerful positive experiences for the children, including the siblings.
This is where you come in. Please support my crazy stunt and donate some money to this incredible cause!
