Story
There are around 10 million people with arthritis in the UK. That’s 10 million individuals, plus their families, each affected in a unique way. Arthritis means inflammation of joints. Most people suffering with arthritis will experience pain and difficulty when moving around. Arthritis is not just a disease of older people – it can affect people of all ages, including children. It is not clear what causes arthritis and there is no cure at present. However, there is plenty that can be done to manage the condition and enabling sufferers to lead a full and active life. My Grandad suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis so I have seen firsthand that pain it can cause the sufferer, as well as their friends and family. I have decided to run the 2011 London Marathon in aid of this Arthritis Care to do my bit to help those who suffering from this disease. Please help me do my bit as well as I can by digging deep and donating now! Those that know me will know I am not the best runner in the world, nor do I have the longest of legs to help me along the way. But I will give it a good old go - because that's what i do best. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page... Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
