East Lancashire Hospice provides specialist, supportive and end of life care for patients and their families from Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley who are coping with a life-limiting illness. To enable us to continue this work, we need to raise £4 million every year.

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

This is an annual 'group sponsored' event in memory of a dear friend and colleague Martin Etherington who sadly passed away July 4th 2003.

He was lovingly cared for at East Lancs Hospice and this is our way of remembering Martin and giving a little back to a support team of people who care so well for those that are terminally ill.

On Saturday 3rd July 2010, Martin's Colleagues from Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council along with his friends and family will be rambling through 10 miles of complex terrain, most probably in the rain (it has without fail rained every time we have done this !!) , and most definitely ending up at a public house of some description !

Thank you so much for donating, whatever you can give helps so much.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor: The East Lancashire Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support.
