Several weeks ago I witnessed one of the most heartbreaking scenes of my life: that of a loving mother and father laying to rest their beautiful 2 year old daughter.

Lizzy had bravely battled Neuroblastoma, a particularly virulent and vile childhood cancer, for six months before she went to dance with the angels 2 days after her 2nd birthday.

I have another dear friend whose daughter has courageously been battling Neuroblastoma for over a year.  Their lives are completley defined by this appauling disease.

Much needed funds are required into further research and the development of successful treatments for this type of cancer.
