Story

We think the ladies can do it better!

The Sawtry First Responders have been challenged by the Huntingdon Fire station to complete the LADIES DRIVING CHALLENGE 2013!

We have been given the opportunity to get behind the wheel of some weird and wonderful vehicles whilst raising valuable funds for The Fire Fighters Charity & the Sawtry First Responders.

On Sunday 12th May, the team will be heading over to Alconbury airfield to spend the day driving fire engines, ambulances, tractors, buses and diggers to name but a few of the wierd wonderful vehicles we will be asked to drive.

The drivers on the day are: Jane Brown, Kelly Huntingdon, Anna Hill, Lucy Cartwright and Sam Bottomley.

The challenge is to see if we can complete the course with out crashing!!! There will also be an added mini challenge of the fastest responder in a fire engine!

We will update this site and our facebook page with pictures as we do the event.

So please dig deep and sponsor the team, all monies raised will be going towards the fire fighter charity for injured fire fighters and training and equipment for your local responder group.
