Its prime purpose is to provide appropriate help, medical, financial and otherwise, to current and retired jockeys who are injured, unable to ride or in need.

Story

Scarlett Vaux (aged 11) and her pony Sanjay are undertaking a sponsored ride from Taunton racecourse to Exeter racecourse, a distance of circa 45 miles. This is all Scarlett's idea as she wanted to raise money for the Injured Jockey's Fund. They will arrive at Exeter during the race meeting on April 12th. Any donations to The Injured Jockey's Fund through Scarlett's challenge will be fantastic. Thank you vey much and hope to see you at Exeter for the racing and to cheer Scarlett in!
