Story

The SCHOOLS4TREES programme was launched in Indonesia in 2010. School children planted nine different species of trees on a hectare of land in the Gunung Halimun-Salak National Park in West Java, Indonesia. IFEES aims to replicate this project worldwide as an educational tool involving children of all denominations giving them an understanding of their stake in their own futures.

The world’s rainforests could completely vanish in a hundred years at the current rate of deforestation. Help us reverse this by supporting the Schools4Trees Project.

Deforestation causes:

Global warming, increases to greenhouse gas emissions, global climate change, reduction in net oxygen levels, biosphere instability, negative impact on the water cycle, soil erosion leading to land-slides, loss of biodiversity, loss of genetic variation, permanent changes to world geography.

Please contribute generously and leave an earth for your children which would be as green as the one you inherited.
