St Luke's Hospice Midnight Walk, Plymouth · 10 June 2009
Hi all,
On 1st August my cousins, sister, aunty and I will be walking 13 long miles (that, by definition, is a half marathon) starting at midnight and continuing until we all collapse at the finish line! The event is in aid of St Luke's Hospice in Plymouth, who helped to make my aunty Jacqueline (3rd from left in the pic) comfortable before she passed away in April after battling cancer.
We'd all be so grateful if you could spare a few pennies towards this great cause which will help to support the much needed work of St Luke's Hospice (and will help to make 13 miles not quite so daunting for those of us who don't think of walking as a hobby)!
Making up the team are:
Kim and Deanne (Jacqueline's daughters)
Margaret (...sister)
Jasmine (...grand daughter)
Josie (that's me) and Candy (...nieces)
Flea (...daughter in law...potentially!)
I've set the target at £91 because that'll mean a pound for each mile covered by the seven of us. Would be fantastic if we could beat this though!
Happy sponsoring (don't forgot to tick gift aid) and thank you so much in advance.
