The St George's Police Childrens Tust · 5 December 2014

The death of a parent, at any age, changes life forever and has devastating emotional impact on top of which there may well be financial implications for the family and the bereaved children. The Trust can't replace a parent but can give financial support and take away at least one burden of worry.

Story

To enhance the festive spirit within our office during December, our staff will wear their Christmas jumpers on Fridays. We feel sure that that will create a host of colourful photographs which we will share with you!

When the staff thought of a 'good cause' to raise funds for as a result of their efforts, 'charity begins at home' sprung to mind and they decided to support the St George's Police Children Trust which provides financial support to children and young people whose police officer parent has lost their life or had an injury/illness preventing them from being able to work.
