Does exactly what it says on the tin. I'm going to raise at least £300 for the Teenage Cancer Trust from you guys and in return
I'll hurl myself from an aircraft into something like -10 degrees C
with a 120mph wind chill wearing nothing but a parachute, shoes and a
helmet.
On the 13th-14th of March as part of
Strathclyde Skydiving's Charichute event, myself and the equally naked
and enthusiastic John Norrington (also on his own fund-raising quest)
shall share an awkward flight followed by a 15 to 30 second free-fall
and several minutes hanging off a parachute.
(Separate parachutes). (Hopefully).
Every
year Strathclyde Skydiving and RAG organise Charichute. Last year we
raised over £6,200 for Scottish Charities and this year we are aiming
to break £10,000. This event takes place on the weekend 13th-14th March
and will put 75 Strathclyde students and staff through their first jump
course. The naked skydiving branch of charichute is a way experienced
jumpers can help contribute as well.
All money raised will be used to build TCT Units in Scotland.
PLEASE REMEMBER, if you tick the option to give gift aid, all you are doing is demanding the government pay an additional 28% of what you've donated to the charity. It costs you nothing, its just a technicality that you have to ask for it to be done. SO PLEASE GIVE GIFT AID.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
