Sean was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer back in May 2019. He underwent 2 intensive courses of chemotherapy, unfortunately the chemo itself took it out of him and in January this year his oncologist advised he took a break to allow his body to recover. Sadly, during this break, the cancer spread again and he eventually lost his fight on 4th May.

When we knew Sean didn't have long left to live we discussed a number of things together, one of which was his funeral and what he wanted. Not a big fan of flowers, he asked that donations be made instead to the Love Hope Strength Foundation. A life long Mike Peters and The Alarm fan, this was a cause he held close to his heart.
