Story

Hi everyone

I'm honoured to be taking part in the Everest base camp challenge for the Steve Prescott foundation. Steve's name brings feelings of courage, bravery and hope.

Being from St.Helens we know how important RL is to the town, to help injured players seems an obvious choice.

On a more personal level both myself and brother Ross Perry who is completing the challenge with me have a hero of our own, our Dad, Mike Perry. Dad has fought of 2 different types of cancer over the past 15 years and is truly an inspiration for us both.

Any donation for this amazing cause would be greatly appreciated

In Addition to the Base camp challenge we will also be completing some mini events to help with fundraising

Event 1 - 1000 Burpees ( Completed 5th July )

Event 2 - The 12 Hour Workout - 12 hours of exhausting exercise being held in both St.Helens and Qatar at the same time!!!

Any donation for this amazing cause would be greatly appreciated

Sean

About the charity

The Steve Prescott Foundation was set up by a totally inspirational man Steve Prescott MBE. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Pseudomyxoma Peritonei a terminal cancer & sought out to raise funds for The Christie Hospital and the Rugby League Benevolent Fund. The SPF changes the lives of so many people.
