Welly Waddle · 3 March 2009

Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. On 12 March 2009, I'll be taking part in a Welly Waddle to raise money for the Scottish Cot Death Trust.

The Scottish Cot Death Trust is the only Scottish charity working to find the cause of Cot Death, to support the families affected by this tragedy and to provide education on the topic for both the public and health care professionals. Each year in the UK, 300 babies die suddenly and unexpectedly. After careful investigation, including a post mortem examination, 80% of these will remain unexplained.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me. Scottish Cot Death Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
