Sewing Machine Empowerment · 17 April 2014

The Loomba Foundation, a UN accredited global NGO, aims to promote the welfare and economic empowerment of disadvantaged widows and their children. We do this through a number of initiatives such as our sewing machine projects and education of children in different states in India.

Story

The Loomba Foundation's Sewing Machine Project is an initiative in India to help widows by supplying them with a sewing machine and training. This initiative helps them gain employment, become self sufficient and regain their dignity.

It costs £50 to supply a widow with a sewing machine and training. We know through experience that this program changes lives. Please make a donation today and make a difference to a widow's life.
