In 2022, I am raising money for the Newcastle United Foundation.

You could be forgiven for thinking that NUFC have quite enough money following the takeover last year!!

However Newcastle United Foundation is a separate, independent registered charity using the power of football to connect, motivate and inspire people in our region. Through community, education, health and wellbeing, and sports programmes delivered across Newcastle, Northumberland, North Tyneside and Gateshead, they strive to improve physical and mental health, boost learning and career prospects and provide life-changing opportunities for everyone – no matter their goals in life.

March saw the opening of NUCASTLE, a world-class community hub located in the heart of the city. With 100,000 annual visitors from across the region and five minutes' walk from St. James' Park, NUCASTLE offers unique opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to enjoy sports, leisure, wellbeing and personal development activities.
