My name is Shaheena and I will be running with Bawso in this years Cardiff Half Marathon to raise funds to help support victims of Modern Day Slavery and Human Trafficking. This is a very important issue that is often overlooked especially in the UK where many of us are just unaware of these horrible practices still taking place all around the world, including the UK. 

Bawso is an all Wales third sector organisation that provides specialist services and support to victims of Domestic Abuse, Human Trafficking, Honour Based Violence, Forced Marriages and Prostitution, especially those from a BME background.
