Mike, a couple of friends and I are challenging ourselves to walk the boundary of Mar Lodge Estate (NTS) over four days at the start of July. This will involve 59 miles including 8 munros and 16 tops over 1000m. We have always wanted to do this and thought we had better do it sooner than later as the joints are starting to ache and creak now we have turned 40 !!! It would seem logical to raise money for the National Trust for Scotland for this venture however instead I have decided to raise funds for Cancer Research. Many of you may know that I lost my mum to cancer a few years ago. Anyway, I hope you feel you can dip into your pocket and give a bit of support to this expedition.  Shaila
