Thank you to all those who have sponsored us or who are planning to!

All 4 of us completed the challenge on weekend of 19th and 20th September.  The abandonment of heels, make up, mobiles etc proved necessary as we trudged up the various peaks, really not caring about how we looked and just hoping the top would come soon!   
The first hour of the challenge was the hardest with a near vertical cliff to climb...we really did wonder what we had let ourselves in for!
However the view, once we reached the top, of Ullswater was so beautiful that it made it all worthwhile.  The highlight for us all was reaching the peak of Helvellyn at 950 metres.  The wind was extremely strong as we ascended and the day so far had been a definite challenge!  We were exhausted!  But the views and personal sense of accomplishment was exhilarating!  Sam and James did brilliantly and were more like mountain goats than boys! We got home about midnight on Sunday and with a real sense of pride and achievement, we all flopped into bed...100% worn out!
