Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On Sunday 23 July I'm going to be walking 10km around Regent's Park, London, at Partnership Walk 2006. Partnership Walk is a sponsored walk/fun run which aims to raise funds for the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF). All funds raised will be used to support AKF programmes that help to transform lives in rural areas of developing countries. For more information on the work of AKF, please visit www.akdn.org.
This is a great cause, so please give what you can to help - any donation, large or small will help AKF with its fantastic work. What's more, the Aga Khan, who established AKF in 1967 and still serves as its Chairman, fully covers AKF's administration costs, which means that every penny you donate will go directly to benefit those in need.
If you're around in London on the day, why not also join me in taking part in the walk/run?? Simply go to www.partnership walk.co.uk to register, or drop me a mail and I can give you details of how to sign up.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Aga Khan Foundation (United Kingdom) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support
