Plymouth Half Marathon 2015 · 19 April 2015 ·

Our focus is on Africa's orphans and most vulnerable children. Every day our mobile clinic saves young lives and eases suffering by taking medicines to children who live in in remote areas. We provide antiretroviral therapy to children with AIDS and deliver public health education to communities.

Story

I am taking on the challenge of the Plymouth Half Marathon for the World Medical Fund For Children, a charity which supports children in sub-Saharan Africa, providing health care to remote villages. This summer I will be joining the charities team, alongside three other medical students, to help set up paediatric outpatient clinics throughout Malawi. Any donations to this great cause will be appreciated, and it will be wonderful to seeing first hand the difference that the donations make.

N.B. The money raised from this run is a direct donation to the charity! I am funding the trip myself.
