Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full.

Story

Hello to my friends family and supporters .

Thank you so much for visiting my Teens Unite Just giving page .

I first spoke to Claire from the team about dancing for the charity after a few too many Rums , I’d just come off a dance floor and thought I could do a tango or Cha-cha !

Not that I’ve ever attempted one of these dances or attended any dance show in my life I finally decided that it was a great idea and great cause .

Those who know me will vouch for my sometimes deluded enthusiasm for thinking I can do tasks that I’ve never attempted before .

So to be able to dance in front of as many as 600 people in the Grosvenor Park Lane , fills me with both pride and nervous energy but the nerves pale into insignificance when you hear about what the teenagers, young adults and families go through who are affected by cancer .

I’m really motivated and honoured to be able to raise as much money for this incredible charity and hope you can all support me with this .

Having 2 wonderful daughters myself , its heart breaking & humbling when you hear about the tragedies these affected young people & they’re families go through but also remarkable & heart-warming to hear about the strength and love these families have for each other .

Thankyou in advance for your generosity and will keep you all updated on the doubtless trials & tribulations that lie ahead on
Instagram .

Ps be nice ! I’ve never been able to do a high kick or indeed a low one !

Love you all x

Teens Unite supports young people fighting cancer to live their best life, while others search for a cure. We inspire young people to recognise their potential now and in the future and empower them to live every moment to the full. When you're faced with cancer, plenty of people will tell you what you can't do, but we show these young people what they can do; not letting the 'c' word hold them back or define who they are.
