Through JD Wetherspoon I have been part of a great fundraising team for CLIC for over 10 years now. The reality of where the money goes and the support it gives children with cancer and their families really hit home in 2016 when my beautiful niece / god-daughter was diagnosed with a Wilms tumour. Throughout her diagnosis, treatment and now 9 months since the end of her treatment she remains symptom free. Mia has been a shining star and an example that children with cancer, can lead a “normal” life and can carry on making special memories and meeting some wonderful people along the way. Please help me raise money for this wonderful charity and support me past the finish line.
