Shedweb (www.gloucesterrugby.net) is an independent website for supporters of Gloucester RFC.  We have a long standing tradition in raising money for good causes.  Lots of people have kindly offered to help meet the running costs and while I appreciate the gesture, money isn't an issue -  I’m lucky, I can afford the cost of the site, I’m too lazy to bother with adverts or adwords and I don’t like sites that are cluttered with adverts anyway.

But I do want your money.  But don’t give it to me, give it to Cancer Research.  We all know of people who fight this horrible illness every day, and many will know – and many, many more will have heard -  Mrs Whispering John and husband Mr Whispering John from their long standing spot in the centre of the Shed.  

The less alcohol ravaged among us will recall Dave Pearson’s great gesture in giving us the signed shirt he received from Gloucester from his last game as a referee, we sold that to ‘Camel’ for a fantastic £350 – and I threw in £50 for the Heineken Cup referee shirt too.   At the time lots of people wanted to contribute, so here’s your chance and here’s the challenge  - if we get to £4,000 by the end of the season I’ll keep the site going – promise.   

Like I said Shedweb has a great history in raising money for great causes – from Cot Death research, to the Heart Foundation and Help for Heroes and a host of others too.    One more time, then…
