We’re here to inform, support and advocate for everyone affected by pregnancy loss. Miscarriage, ectopic and molar pregnancy can be a deeply distressing and difficult experience, and everyone who experiences pregnancy loss and its impact should get the understanding, care and support they need.

Story

One of the main reasons for taking part in CRN Fight Night is for the chance to raise money for a charity I believe in and one that was so supportive of my wife and I at the end of 2014 and into 2015 when we tragically had a miscarriage.

We were surprised to find out that they were so common, according to the NHS, one in six pregnancies ends in miscarriage, but it does not make it any less a frightening and lonely experience for those effected by it.

When we found out that we had lost our baby during our emergency scan at the hospital, we were handed a leaflet provided by the Miscarriage Association that aims to give you some information and places to reach out to, when you are ready to take it in.

Over the weeks that followed we reached out to the Miscarriage Association for advice and support, which they provide in every possible way they could, to make us feel less isolated, angry and empty, which are just a few of feelings we went through. They not only provide support for those directly effected by a miscarriage, but also for family, friends, and those who may know how to react to your miscarriage.

So for all of these reasons, I am raising money for the Miscarriage Association through my own chosen physical and mental battle, CRN Fight Night 2016!
