None of us know what cancer can do to people until you experience it first hand. I had a similar experience when I first learnt about the horrible effects of cancer on it's victims and their families during my visit to Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital in Nepal at the age of 14. 

Whilst walking down the long corridor in the hospital, room after room, I saw the victims' excruciating pain and the families' helplessness through the round window on the door. Charities like Cancer Research UK heavily invest in finding out the causes and treatments for this disease. Hence, I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life for the FIRST time this year.
