Liam's Sick Kids Save Point 2014: Amateur Speedrun
Liam Brierley is raising money for Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity
Story
- From 12pm 11th to 12pm 12th October, I'll be doing 'Sick Kids Save Point', the UK's biggest charity videogames marathon based in Edinburgh, in aid of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children.
- Sick Kids Save Point is a 24-hour videogame marathon. Gaming for 24 hours straight is tough, but you might say "that's boring!", or "he does that with his weekend anyway!" (which is not strictly true..)
- So here's the deal. I'm going to try and play through as many videogames as I can, classics and moderns, start to finish, all within 24 hours. I'm not a "speed runner", a gamer who specifically trains to beat games as fast as possible, by any means (or indeed, at all) so I'll really be pushing myself.
