I am fundraising for Sightsavers as part of my first marathon attempt in London, April 2023.

Sightsavers is a charity supported over the years by my grandparents, and with my grandfather’s passing last year, it is a great privilege for me to be running with Sightsavers in the 2023 London Marathon.

Sightsavers' incredible and vital work is focused on eye health, working to prevent avoidable blindness and supporting people with disabilities through training and advocating for their rights around the world. In 2021 they delivered 173 million neglected tropical disease treatments and conducted 410,445 operations.

I’m incredibly excited to be running the marathon in memory of my grandfather, and thank you for any contribution which will help Sightsavers continue their critical work, which will be a source of motivation for me as I train and hope to eventually trundle the 42km or so around London in April 2023.
