St Mary's is a lovely historic church in Beverley. Even though it play's secound fiddle to the Minster many people prefer it in many ways.

Unfortunatly it is falling down, and without expensive repairs parts of it will become dangerous within a couple of years.. Hence the requirement for fundraising.

A small group of us are taking part in the GL3D.. a 3 day mountain marathon in the lake district. Whilst the distances we wre attempting are not massive, we will cover the equivalent of 100km with all the climbing.. and with the need for accurate navigation and copeing with varied  weather conditions this will still be a considerable challenge.
