Story
I started helping out at the Felix Project a couple of months ago and I have to admit I was pretty shocked at the huge number of people who simply can't afford food. In fact over one in ten of us now rely on charities or food banks to get any kind of meal. For many children the only meals they get are the ones they have at school so come the school holidays they go hungry. That's why the Felix Project is such a brilliant charity. They take surplus food from suppliers and deliver it to any charity that helps feed people. It's all nutritious and would otherwise go to waste. I drive one of their bright green vans delivering surplus food to the people who need it most and so I've seen how effective their plan is, it really works and the more money we can raise the more we can stop people going hungry. But you don't have to drive a van to help, just bung a couple of quid my way when I do this bike ride. The pain begins on the 25th of March. Thank you. Simon
