Ive not done a sponsored event since childhood, as most of my events are things that I enjoy. This one is a bit more challenging, especially as  I don’t usually run, so I thought I’d add some incentive and raise money for some good local causes. For those that don’t know, the triathlon distances are 2.4 miles for the swim, 112 miles for the cycle, and a marathon, 26 miles for the run. Cutoff time 16 hours!!!

The Winchester hospice charity is raising money to renovate Burrell house in the grounds of Winchester hospital to provide care for up to 10 inpatients and many other out patients. At present there is no hospice facility in the area.
