In March 2009, i will be cycling 400+ miles in 8 days from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean, in memory of my Brother in Law; Scuddy, who, sadly passed away after a brave fight againest Luekeamia.

Scuddy was an inspiration and quite simply the greatest bloke ive ever met. He had hoped to do the ride with me when he was better, but sadly it was never to be. So i am dedicating this ride to his memory, and, if you would like to help me raise money for this worthy cause please donate below.

The  "El Grandisimo" and what it entails......

Starting on the east coast i'll  be passing through dense jungle, into the cloud forests of the Sierra Madre and up to the highest point of the ride at 3000m. It's a journey of strenuous climbs, long dusty roads and exciting descents through a fascinating mixture of traditional and colonial cultures and on to our ultimate goal-the beautiful beaches of the Pacific coast.
