We care very much about protecting the Earth's environment, and think natural ocean habitats in particular face some of the greatest threats from unwanted human influence. The food we eat, the water we drink, and the air we breathe all come directly or indirectly from the ocean, and their quality depends on how healthy the ocean's ecosystems are.

Ocean Conservancy focuses on several specific programs. It rallies the world’s largest effort to remove trash from our beaches, and helps to promote healthy oceanic ecosystems by advocating against overfishing and ocean acidification. Your contribution will go a long way in helping them succeed in these goals!
