It is with great sadness that Cry in the Dark have to inform you that on December the 8th 2010 Sister Elizabeth Abbot (better known to most of you as Sister Betty), passed away in the Willem Hospice in Milton Keynes after a battle with Cancer.

Betty had given her life in service to her God and the people he called her to witness to. Betty was Mama Betty to all the young people at Casa Lumina and she is dearly missed by them all.

Sister Betty fought everyday for people less fortunate than herself, and she truly knew how to love those that no-one else would love.

In Sister Betty’s name we would like to launch a memorial appeal, if you would like to donate to this appeal we assure you that all donations from this appeal will go to the running of Casa Lumina.
