Tuuli and Emma from Smartaupairs are taking part in the “Race for Life” 10K run in Maidstone, on July 13th. Race for Life supports Cancer Research UK. Chloe was also meant to be joining us but has unfortunately had to drop out to have an operation :(

Each and every one of us are likely to be affected by cancer at some point of our lives – all three of us have personally experienced this through friends and relatives and so we know how much of an issue it really is.

This is a real challenge for us as neither of us have even completed a 5K race before, let alone a 10K. Therefore, we are currently busy training for the race, even swapping our normal lunch hours, often spent next to a computer, to healthier “lunch-time runs”.

Events like Race for Life really are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer.
