I, along with a group of friends will be taking on the Snowdon challenge for Gaza, a trek up Mount Snowdon, Snowdonia National Park, Wales.

 

As we wait to ascend to the highest peak in England & Wales, Gaza has been waiting for over a year for some restoration of normality. The 'Gaza Remembers.....' project spells out Islamic Relief's £16 million, two year recovery plan to provide some backbone to the much lacking infrastructure in that region. The programme comprises of 22 projects, benefiting over 700,000 Gazans (about half the population).

Development of Water Networks

Primary Health Care Clinics

Rebuilding Schools

Microcredit - financial support for small businesses

Islamic Relief has been present on the ground in Gaza since 1998, time which has allowed it build up an extensive network of suppliers and expertise on the ground. Over £3 million worth of supplies were distributed during a 22 day conflict, benefiting over 500,000 people. Now, Islamic Relief needs your generous help to REBUILD GAZA.
