We are the Somerset Stigs and this year we're embarking upon a mission across Europe in order to raise money and support for Help For Heroes. The challenge is to purchase, fix (if necessary) and drive an old banger car worth no more than £250 all the way to Lake Como, Italy and back through some of Europe’s most demanding roads.

Our team consists of 3 members of the Armed Forces. Representing the Royal Air Force is Matt Froude & Steve Ganley, for the Army we have Chris Ganley. The 3 of us with our mechanical know how, brawn and sheer determination will get our car through anything that falters us.

Help For Heroes is a charity that is close to all our hearts and we’d all like to play our part in helping our wounded soldiers, sailors and airmen who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
