Kith & Kids provides activities, opportunities, information and support for people with a learning disability or autism, their parents and siblings. We help the whole family to overcome social isolation and live more fulfilled lives.

Story

Something in the Attic is a pop-up event happening across London. It’s a place where art is taken out of its white wall context and given a new lease of life. The first event will take place in Notting Hill, London on the 28th and 29th of June 2012, bringing together art, music and charity.

There is no cover charge for the event which includes art by David Shillinglaw, and various DJ's playing everything from Lounge to Hip-Hop and Disco until the early hours of Saturday morning, however we would like to encourage a small donation to Kith & Kids, a London-based disability charity.

The money raised will go towards their Social Development Project to help individuals with disabilities develop key life and social skills, for example an art workshop will teach people with communication disabilities (such as autism) to express their feelings through drawing and painting.

RSVP is essential, please e-mail: info@somethingintheattic.co.uk specifying which date(s) you would like to attend.
